The Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC), in partnership with the Ghana Private Sector Competitiveness Programme II (GPSCPII) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), is proud to announce the launch of the Women’s Agribusiness Incubation Programme.

This transformative 9-month initiative is designed to support women-led enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs in Ghana’s cashew and nut processing sector, helping them move from raw commodity trading into high-value processing, packaging, and business scale.

The cashew processing value chain presents significant opportunities for job creation, economic empowerment, and sustainable development. However, many women-owned businesses in this sector face barriers to growth, including limited access to finance, markets, and technical skills.

The Women’s Agribusiness Incubation Programme addresses these challenges head-on with a program designed to turn ambition into a thriving, standout business.

Selected participants will benefit from:

•     Hands-on business training to strengthen operational and financial management.

•     Mentorship from industry experts for personalized guidance.

•     Access to finance to fuel business growth.

•     Market connections and buyer linkages to expand reach and revenue.

Who Can Apply?

The programme is recruiting:

•     Woman-owned businesses operating for 1–6 years within cashew processing (post-revenue).

•     Eligibility requires that the business be legally registered in Ghana, woman-owned, actively operating within the cashew processing value chain, post-revenue, and committed to participating in all programme activities.
