Targeted at enabling Micro, Small and Medium Sized Enterprises to thrive, this is a partnership between Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre. It is part of the implementation of EUR 1. 2 million GIZ Support to the Private and Financial Sector (PFS) programme.

The programme supports green and greening MSMEs to scale their businesses through the adoption and deepening of sustainable, climate adaptative business models.
This initiative is in line with Ghana’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). The focus is on mitigating climate change and using climate-friendly technologies for economic growth. The “Ghana Green Jobs Strategy” aims to create over one million jobs by 2030.
The program which runs from June 2024 to August 2025, will support MSMEs across five regions of Ghana – Greater Accra, Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo, for six (6) months, to scale their operations and fortify climate adaptation practices within their enterprises.
