GIZ Green Business Competitions for MSMEs
Committed to driving sustainable growth, the Green Business Competitions for MSMEs, funded by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ and implemented by the GCIC, aims to strengthen Ghana’s resilience and prosperity by advancing a vibrant green economy.
The programme supports green and greening MSMEs to scale their businesses through the adoption and deepening of sustainable, climate adaptative business models.
This initiative is in line with Ghana’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). The focus is on mitigating climate change and using climate-friendly technologies for economic growth. The “Ghana Green Jobs Strategy” aims to create over one million jobs by 2030.
The program will support 60 MSMEs a to scale their operations and fortify climate adaptation practices within their enterprises creating over 100 jobs.
