Royal Citrus Growers Ghana started as a grassroots initiative selling citrus seedlings, with proceeds reinvested into the business and supporting the founder’s education. Facing a decline in seedling demand, the company pivoted to establish its own citrus plantation. Now expanding into citrus processing, Royal Citrus Growers aims to reduce post-harvest losses and provide a ready market for local farmers, strengthening its value chain and supporting the livelihoods of farmers in the region.
